Brad Sumner with Pacific Coast Trading Co. in Portland told us on Aug. 24 that the company is now shipping out of Lancaster, CA, and Washington.

Since its formation in 2017 and its January 2022 spinoff from parent company Pacific Coast Fruit Company, one of the largest independently owned produce distributors in the Pacific Northwest, multi-generational, family-owned/operated Pacific Coast Trading Company in Portland has created its own team to cover North America and offer a solid line-up of conventional and organic produce items, including a year-round onion program.

Pacific Coast Fruit Co., one of the Northwest’s largest independent produce distributors, is creating a spinoff subsidiary trading company, allowing the multigenerational, family-run business to expand.

Portland, Ore.-based produce distributor Pacific Coast Fruit Co. has announced the spinoff of its subsidiary, Pacific Coast Trading Co. LLC.
